NASHVILLE FAMILY MEETUP FOR SOCIAL SKILLS

"This meetup group is a parent based support group for parents of children ages 10-14 who struggle to make or keep friends in the Nashville area. We meet to discuss the challenges, questions, complexities, and exhilarations of parenting our children. We have various child centered events such as game or movie nights. Our group is member driven. Members are encouraged to suggest and plan meetups that would be of interest to themselves and/or their children. Our message board contains discussions about parenting children who struggle with social skills, discussions and planning about and for meetups and other parenting seminars. Please feel free to post questions, comments, and events that are of interest to you as a parent of a child with social challenges." (description of the group from the meetup.com website)
