KRISTIN
Hi, I’m Kristin! I am an occupational therapist here at Sprocket. I have been working with kids and teenagers in different capacities for the past 7 years: as a social worker in foster care, a mental health therapist in elementary schools around Nashville, as an after school care leader with high school students who are refugees, and as a paraprofessional. I love combining my skills as a social worker and my skills as an occupational therapist to help kiddos reach their goals creatively through play and having fun!
Outside of occupational therapy, I love to travel, play outside, rollerblade, sweat it out in a hot yoga class, and enjoy a game night with friends. I love many creative outlets, but my favorites are working with clay in different capacities and learning more about woodworking. Gardening and keeping my plants alive and happy is my next undertaking!
I am thrilled to be a part of the Sprocket family. Everyone on the Sprocket team is dedicated to providing the best treatments tailored to each unique child. I am honored to be able to learn alongside many talented therapists that are also just great human beings. Many aspects of this job are so fulfilling and I’m grateful to be able to learn just as much (if not more!) from the kiddos and families that I work with as they learn from me.
