Hello, my name is Bre. I was born in Nashville, but grew up in Gallatin a suburb northeast of downtown. I received my OTD in 2017 and Bachelor of Science in psychology in 2014 from Belmont University. I love being a pediatric occupational therapist because it allows me to be creative, get messy, and stay moving. One of my favorite things about being an OT is running an inclusive martial arts class. My dream job as an OT would be helping children be included in sports and running inclusive summer camps.
I am drawn to anything that involves food, music, or being active. I have an awesome husband and a pup named Oliver. In my spare time, I like cooking, drinking coffee, singing (in my car), petting my dog, and doing anything outside. I love being a part of the Sprocket team! I feel lucky to work in such an innovative environment with therapists who treat the whole child. Besides, I know I could have used OT at Sprocket when I was kid.
Cheers! Bre DeKuiper
